The name of Robert de Niro has long been known to serve as president of the jury at Cannes in the year 2011. However, the composition of the latter has been unveiled this Tuesday. The name most foil contained therein is unquestionably one of Jude Law. Alongside English actor, one finds among the best known Olivier Assayas or Uma Thurman.
The rest of the jury is composed of Martina Gusman (Argentine actress), Nansun Shi (Chinese producing), Linn Ullman (writer and daughter of Ingmar Bergman and Liv Ullman), Mahamat Saleh Haroun (Chad director, Jury Prize at Cannes 2010) and finally, Johnny To (Filmmaker Vengeance which starred Johnny Hallyday).
What a team!
