Friday in New Zealand, the manager of Pak n'Save City of Hamilton, passed a strange day. He saw his store robbed by its customers, then no employee was present, tells the Waikato Times. Indeed, to this date he was to remain closed for Good Friday public holiday in New Zealand. But at 8am, the supermarket's computer system automatically opened the doors and turned on the light.
To the delight of customers, the store remained open for several hours. "We were warned that people were leaving the place with truckloads of food," said Sergeant Guy Callahan of the local police. "When we arrived, there were many cars leaving. (...) Our first priority was to close the supermarket and contact the owners."
