Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have been married for seven years, decided to separate, reported the online edition of People magazine. "We decided to end our marriage," he told the publication in a joint statement. "This has been a very difficult decision. We have reached an amicable settlement on all issues," he added.

Lopez, 41, and Anthony, 42, married in June 2004 in a ceremony held in the home of actress and singer in Beverly Hills (Los Angeles, California). The couple has twins Max and Emme, in three years. "They are painful times for all parties involved," the statement said, "and we appreciate the respect our privacy at this time." Lopez, after passing through the television program "American Idol" prepares his return to cinema with two films: "Parker," an action movie starring Jason Statham, and "What to Expect When You're Expecting," a ensemble comedy about five couples preparing for parenthood.
