The Berlinale is almost over! And last yesterday the Golden and Silver Bears - of course at a gala - were awarded. For the first time a film from Iran won, "Nader and Simin, a separation".
Golden Bear: BEST FILM: "Nader and Simin, a separation" (directed by Asghar Farhadi, Iran). Silver Bear: BEST ACTOR RATING: actress-ensemble "Nader and Simin, a separation" actor-ensemble "Nader undSimin, A separation". BEST DIRECTOR: Ulrich Köhler for "sleeping sickness". Best Screenplay: Joshua Marston and Andamion Murataj for "The Forgiveness Of Blood". OUTSTANDING ARTISTIC PERFORMANCE "El Premio" (camera: Wojciech Staron, Production Design: Bárbara Enríquez). Alfred Bauer Prize: Andres Veiel for "Who if not us," the Ecumenical Jury Prize: "Nader and Simin, a separation".
