Actor George Clooney has been named among the witnesses of Italian leader Silvio Berlusconi. While the latter compared to the history of Rubygate, where he is suspected of having had sex with priced escort Ruby (minor at the time) and of abusing his powers by obtaining a waiver its custody, his lawyers have chosen to show George Clooney, arguing that he and his ex girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis had participated in one of his famous parties.
About the presenter denied by Italian and by the actor himself: "It seems weird because I've met Berlusconi once, and was trying to get help for Darfur ". George Clooney will still be called to testify at trial, which begins next April 6.
