Puerto Rican actor Benicio del Toro, 44, will be a father for the first time, the result of a relationship he had with Kimberly Stewart, 31, daughter of singer Rod Stewart, reports People magazine. The news of the upcoming fatherhood Del Toro surprised the press in American society, he had no proof that the winner of an Oscar for 'Traffic' had lived an affair with Stewart.
"Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very cooperative. Although there are a couple, look forward to the new baby," confirmed the representative of the interpreter. Stewart had previously had a relationship with actors Jude Law and Rhys Ifans, in addition to having been engaged twice.
Del Toro was linked to actress Claire Forlani and was rumored to have lived a short romance with Scarlett Johansson.
