Nicolas Cage released on bail of $ 11,000

Cage was arrested Saturday in New Orleans on charges of domestic violence and disorderly conduct after an argument with his wife Alice. The actor is in New Orleans filming the movie "Medallion" directed by Simon West. The site specializes in celebrities revealed that the two began to argue to disagree on the exact address of the apartment they have rented in the city.

Apparently the actor, 47, was drunk and a taxi driver who saw his wife crying in the street alerted police, who went to the spot and asked the couple to leave home. Cage mocked the police and further straining the situation that challenged them to stop. "Why do not we just arrest me?" snapped the actor to the agents, who returned to challenge before being handcuffed and taken away to police station.

The website indicates that Alice does not want to press charges against her husband and insists that there was no physical contact during the incident. Sources familiar with the operation indicated that Duane "Dog" Chapman was the one who posted bail of $ 11,000 for the lead actor of action films like "The Rock" (1996) and "Con Air" (1997) out of jail.

Chapman's wife, Beth, was also suggested through his Twitter account that was the bounty hunter who took a Cage from prison after eight hours in jail. Chapman, who lives in Hawaii, is dedicated to finding professional people fleeing from justice to get the rewards offered by the authorities to locate them.

Both he and his family have starred in a reality TV program in America.
