Teresa died of Orleans - Braganza, aunt of Don Juan Carlos

It was one of the last great ladies of the older generation of European princesses. Tall, elegant, distinguished and unique, so was the Princess Teresa of Orleans-Braganza, who died yesterday at his villa, located in the Portuguese town of Estoril, at age 91. The Princess was not due to appear at public events.

The last two times that we saw was in our country. Did attend the wedding of the Prince of Asturias, and recently saw the occasion of the funeral of his brother, Pedro de Orleans - Braganza. Teresa of Orleans has always had very good relationship with the Royal Family. He kept a special relationship with Maria de las Mercedes, the mother of the King, who became one of his great friends with whom he shared confidences.

Leaves two daughters, Elisabeth, goddaughter of King, and Nuria; Princess leaves no widow, and her husband, Ernesto Martorell, died in 1985.
