American Natalie Portman won the Oscar for best actress this year, has been the mother of a child, reported the online edition of People magazine. The singer and her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied thus become parents for the first time. The publication did not disclose the baby's name, nor where or when he was born.
Portman, 30, Millepied met during the filming of 'black swan', where he worked as a choreographer. In December, the couple announced their engagement and pregnancy Portman.
