Mark Wahlberg seems to have taken a liking for boxing. The actor is determined to shoot a sequel to "The Fighter". In the drama, he plays the former world champion boxer Mickey Ward.
In an interview he revealed: "We are talking currently about a second part, we want a trilogy and realize it." By the way: Christian Bale and Melissa Leo for their roles received an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.
