Viiip square: a slow start

TF1 has a low score for the launch of Square ViiiP. The reality TV show attracted an average of 3.9 million viewers while the three episodes of NCIS, which aired on M6 have successively gathered 6 million, 5.4 million and 3.7 million viewers, or 21% 23% of the general public. For Viiip Square, Market share reached 18% over four years and older and 30% greater among housewives than fifty years.

TF1 was also the leader on this target by a short head. For comparison, in 2010, launches of Masterchef and Secret Story realized, respectively, 24% and 26% audience share across the public. But the bad passwords do not stop there. Saturday, the day attracted 2.1 million viewers, or 16% of the general public and 25% housewives.

Lower performance compared to the normally scheduled show in that box, all together. Finally, on Sunday, the day was downright losing to Super Questions for a champion, with 2.1 million viewers, against 2.2 million for the game Julien Lepers. The market shares of Square ViiiP were, once again, disappointing 14% across the public and 27% housewives.

Waiting to see the results of tonight's daily production and applicants must therefore create the buzz they want the market share goes up or it could be the first and last ViiiP Square.
