Wyclef Jean was the victim of an attack in Port-au-Prince in Haiti in the night from Saturday to Sunday! While he was in his car in the city of Port-au-Prince along with Busta Rhymes and his producer Jimmy Rosemond, gunmen appeared and opened fire on the vehicle. American rapper of Haitian origin was slightly injured a hand.
He was then transported to hospital in emergency. The information was made public via twitter by Pras Michel by his former partner in the group the Fugees, who recalled, had not supported the candidacy of Wyclef Jean at the last presidential election in Haiti! His manager was keen to reassure fans worried: "We spoke with Wyclef, he is okay.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. " No one knows the author of the shooting, nor the reasons thereof. It just knows that Wyclef Jean was visiting Michel Martelly, candidate for the presidential election currently underway in the country. The days of the rapper would not be in danger.
