Hosni Mubarak has resigned!

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak gave his resignation on Friday 11 February after many movements poplulaires and interventions of foreign leaders by the news channel i tv. It's Omar Suleiman, the current vice-president who made the announcement in late afternoon at a press conference on television the government.

Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement, Ed) says "this is the beginning of the victory of the Egyptian revolution." The Supreme Council of the Egyptian army took the top spot in power until new elections, democratic, are in place. It is therefore an unprecedented jubilation settled in this country that was a powder keg ready to explode for several weeks.

The Egyptian people got what he hoped so, an Egypt based on the principle of democracy.
